Modern, Industrial Styled Shoot

Finally! I am so excited to share the full gallery of this styled shoot now that it’s officially published on Borrowed and Blue! It feels like a lifetime ago when I decided to kick off the start of my business by doing a styled shoot – and chose to plan it all in a month.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what I was doing when I gave myself 30 days to plan it all. But that’s what made it so fun! The concept for this shoot started out as rustic, then went to glam, and ended up with a modern, industrial feel.

The style really came together once we found the venue, Eastbank Lounge. As soon as I looked through the window of this place, I knew we needed to have the shoot here. Its open floorplan, exposed piping, and hip lounge area appealed to the city girl in me. I threw my rustic vision out the window!

I was so lucky to find Stephanie Marie Photography for this shoot. She completely understood my vision after our first meeting and many of the unique details were actually thought of by her. Like the cake hanging from the ceiling – that was all Ms. Stephanie!

The florals were everything I wanted and more, thanks to E’s Floral. E has a gift of making every floral design unique. Check out the cabbage she put in the center of the bridal bouquet! Who knew vegetables could be so beautiful?

I really wanted the cake to bring in all the details of this shoot, and Valerie with Unbirthday Cakes and Pastries most certainly delivered. The marble bottom tier brought in the blue and grey tones from the tablescape, while the gold tier tied in the details of the gold flatware from Spielmans.

I am truly blown away by all the vendors who came together on this shoot and created something amazing. The talent and creativity on this team made this shoot more than I dreamed!

xx Amanda
